Welcome! I am so glad you stopped by. My name is Hope. I’m a simple, southern Jesus girl. I have been married to my semi high school sweetheart (we started dating seven months after graduation) for nineteen years.
I started blogging in 2013 about eight months after the loss of my first child. Writing became an avenue of healing for me as I struggled with grief, infertility, depression and anxiety. God blessed us with two healthy babies who are eleven months and one day apart. I am still learning to navigate this life with children on both sides of heaven. My arms are full, but my heart is overflowing.
I taught elementary school for seventeen years before hanging up my teaching bag to stay home with my rainbow babies. We are now educating them at home.
If you have struggled with baby loss and/or infertility, I would love to have you join me in seeking hope in the sacred space where joy and sorrow intersect. In addition to sharing about life after loss in this space, I write about our family life and home education at Our Curious Adventures. I also provide Virtual Assistant services for writers.
I’m glad to have you join me in this journey.
