On the last day of the conference, I met Krista and Alicia in the prayer room before dinner and they prayed over me and my sweet rainbow. It was powerful! It is one thing to know someone is praying for you. I know that there are many who have and are praying for us every day. But being witness to those prayers, actually hearing the words being prayed for you, is something beyond compare.
This meeting was truly orchestrated by God. If you know me, then you know that I am a very introverted person. I could have very well walked into that room and taken my seat, never introducing myself to Whitney. I would have sat down, listened to the session and left, never knowing that Krista was sitting right behind me. I would have attended the remainder of the conference probably never seeing Krista again since there were 700+ women in attendance. But something prompted me to introduce myself.
The purpose of sharing this is to say thank you. I know that so many people have prayed for us over the past 2 1/2 years and with every part of my being I know that it is those prayers that have gotten me through the toughest days. It is those prayers that have helped sustain my faith and given me the strength to persist, even when I wanted to give up. So, whether you have said a few prayers throughout the years or have prayed for us daily, thank you, thank you, thank you. Those words don’t seem adequate enough to completely describe my gratitude.
